Our commitment

SPHERE is built with respect for your privacy as a core principle. We only collect the data strictly necessary for the app to work, and we never sell it or share it with third parties.

Data we collect

1. Location data

Why: SPHERE uses your geographic position for two purposes only: triggering your location-based reminders (arriving at or leaving an area you've defined) and displaying the weather in your dashboard.

How: Your location data is processed locally on your device. We do not store your movement history on our servers.

Control: You can disable location access at any time in your device settings. Location-based reminders and the weather display will then stop working.

2. Notifications

SPHERE's notifications are used exclusively to alert you about your reminders (at the scheduled time or when you enter/leave a defined area). They are never used for advertising or marketing purposes.

3. Your spheres, events and reminders

The content you create (spheres, calendar events, reminders) is stored only on your device. We do not have access to this information.

4. Technical data

We collect anonymous technical information to improve the app:

• Device type and operating system version
• App version
• Anonymized crash reports
• General usage statistics (number of spheres created, usage frequency)

This data is anonymized and cannot be used to personally identify you.

How we use your data

Your data is used exclusively to:

• Provide the service: Organize your spheres, display your calendar, and trigger your reminders at the right time or place
• Display the weather: Use your location to show local weather in your dashboard
• Improve the app: Identify and fix bugs, optimize performance
• Technical support: Help you if you contact us with an issue

SPHERE does not sell or otherwise use your data. We never share it with advertisers or third parties for marketing purposes.

Security and protection

We implement appropriate security measures to protect your data:

• Encryption of sensitive data
• Local storage by default (your spheres, events and reminders stay on your device)
• Restricted access to the technical data we collect
• Secure servers compliant with industry standards

• Service providers: Essential technical services (hosting, weather service, analytics) bound by strict confidentiality agreements, and limited to the data strictly necessary (for example, your location at the time of a weather request)

Cookies and similar technologies

SPHERE does not use advertising cookies or third-party trackers. The only data stored locally relates to your preferences, your spheres and your reminders, which are necessary for the app to work.

Protection of minors

SPHERE is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately.

International transfers

Your data is primarily stored locally on your device. If data is transferred to our servers or to our providers (for example, for the weather feature), it is processed within the European Union or in countries offering an equivalent level of protection.

Data retention

We keep your data only for as long as necessary:

• Location data: Processed in real time, not retained
• Technical data: Up to 12 months after collection
• Technical support: Resolution time + 6 months

You can delete the app at any time, which will erase all your local data (spheres, events, reminders).

Changes to this policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. In the event of significant changes, we will notify you via the app or by email (if you have provided us with your address).

The last update date is shown at the bottom of this page. We encourage you to review this policy regularly.
